Legal Basis
Strictly necessary cookies rely on the exemption in Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only with your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect processing carried out beforehand.
Google Analytics and Google Ads
Google tags run in Consent Mode with every storage type denied by default: no Google cookie is written and no identifier is sent until you consent. IP addresses are truncated and ad personalisation signals stay off unless you accept advertising cookies. Google LLC may transfer data to the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Managing Cookies and Consent
Use the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of every page to reopen the preference centre and change or withdraw your choice at any time. Refusing is as easy as accepting and does not restrict access to the site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How Long We Keep Your Choice
Your consent choice is stored for six months, after which we ask again. We also ask again whenever we add a purpose or a provider. Individual cookies expire as shown in the table above, and withdrawing consent deletes the analytics and advertising cookies already present in your browser.
Your Data Protection Rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your personal data, and object to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; ours is the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
U.S. State Privacy Rights
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, loading our advertising cookies is a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out at any time through the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer, and we honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a valid opt-out. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16, we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger a right to limit, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

We may update this policy. Material changes are published on this page with a new date and, where a new purpose or provider is added, your consent is requested again.
